Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) has found that the public fear of Coronavirus has affected on the oil prices and the global oil demand. The oil prices approximately fell 20 percent between late January and early February.
Considering China (30% of total demand) and other Asian countries (50% of total demand) as the main oil consumers, the economic effects of spreading the virus in Asia can’t be negligible.
According to scientific research around the virus, it seems that the virus will be contained until the end of March and will be vanished by the summer.
