Initiation of physical inspections by the Australian Navy and monitoring oil and gas facilities

Monitoring of the marine oil besides gas industry and inspections will begin after travel restrictions are lifted due to the widespread disease covid_19.
The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) Which closed its office in March to prevent coronavirus, remotely inspects and researches offshore facilities. Inspections are carried out through the online zoom video platform and other broadcast services.
NOPSEMA has conducted various interviews with the Ministers of Health and Maritime Safety to ensure compliance with health principles.
In order to maintain the safety of individuals and to observe social distance, all inspections have been performed remotely during covid-19 disease.
NOPSEMA intends to resume offshore inspections from early August in accordance with health principles and with appropriate arrangements. Physical inspections are carried out at offshore oil and gas facilities with appropriate facilities to protect the health of individuals.
